History
Christian Plourde completed his Bachelor’s in business administration (B.A.A.) and his Bachelor’s in law (LL.B.) at the University of Moncton, New Brunswick. He then completed his Masters in taxation degree at the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec in order to further specialize in tax and succession planning. Christian Plourde then went on to work for four years as a Tax Manager with international accounting firm KPMG LLP, three years practicing as a tax lawyer in a boutique style law firm, and then being self-employed as the Managing Tax Partner in one of Atlantic Canada’s largest growing accounting firms.
Given that Income Tax in Canada is one of the most complex pieces of legislation and repertoire of case law, Christian’s background in law and research allows Aegis Tax Specialists to have an edge in terms of finding answers to your business needs. At Aegis Tax Services, we believe that what makes a tax professional thrive is the passion for the area of practice. Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own. That is the energy that sets us apart.
Aegis Tax Specialists opened its doors in 2020. We hope to bring an exceptional level of enthusiasm, dedication, and nuanced perspective on taxation that will make our firm the holistic solution for business owners that wish to expand their business.
